Classroom training for Avebe employees

In this month the technical staff of Avebe followed a specific training day to learn more about working most efficient with their new DUCAM system.

With a touring car the employee of Avebe were taken to the Water Campus in Leeuwarden where the training day took place. The team of Wafilin Systems welcomed them all at the Business Centre Johannes de Doper. CEO Henk Schonewille started with a presentation about Wafilin Systems. He showed the projects that they have successfully completed and give them an insight of their way of working.

Subsequently, various educational blocks were offered, alternating with theory and practice. Harry van Dalfsen, founder and technical director of Wafilin shared his excellent knowledge and experience in the field of membranes. Thomas Roersma, technical sales engineer, mainly focused on the use of the DUCAM system. Cleaning turned out to be an interesting part of this session.

After an extensive lunch followed a tour through the new Food Application Centre of Technology (FACT) by R&D Manager, Jos van Dalfsen. Eric van der Wal, Technical Sales Engineer brought a practical follow-up of the theory about membranes in the Water Application Centre (WAC).

A collaborative partner in the project, gave after the practical part an instructive presentation about valves. Also good to learn more about before using the system. The day ended with the most important do’s and don’ts in membrane technology. Final questions were answered and the group photo formed the closure of the training day. It turned to by an inspiring, challenging and enjoyable day, according to a number participants who attended this training day.
